Tasks and responsibilities

Self-employed chef, work location: Hoogstraat 4 1541 KX Koog aan de Zaan

● Employment contract: Full-time / 38 hours per week

● Salary indication: €2,500 - €3,250 gross per month, excluding holiday pay

● Employment conditions in accordance with the Hospitality Collective Labor Agreement

● Carrying out preparatory work such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.

● Assess the quality of products/ingredients (freshness, shelf life, etc.) and prepare tools

● Carry out preparations, monitor quality, doneness, taste, color, consistency, etc. and adjust if necessary.

● Prepare orders for issue.

● Ensure compliance with safety regulations, occupational health and safety rules, HACCP and work and presentation methods

 We are looking for someone who

• Has demonstrable knowledge of basic kitchen techniques
• Can work independently and in a structured manner, even during peak hours
• Has a strong sense of quality, hygiene, and attention to detail
• Can communicate effectively in Dutch or English
• Is positive, engaged, and eager to learn
